About us
Livingmaps Network was established in 2013 as a network of researchers, community activists, artists and others with a common interest in the use of mapping for social change, public engagement, critical debate and creative forms of community campaigning. Livingmaps is a not-for-profit organisation and runs on very tight margins to sustain our activities. Therefore, please note these roles are voluntary. They would suit those looking to develop skills in editorial and publishing work, event curation and management, and network building. In addition, they would benefit those specifically looking to develop their personal and professional links with like-minded mappers from across academic, the arts and practitioner spaces.
